Allegany, NY is one of those towns where you can live forever but never quite be from. Even though it is right next to Olean, it has maintained its own character and sense of identity. A beautiful village, surrounded by beautiful country side.
The beautiful Indian Summer finally departed and brought a week of rain, clouds and cool weather to the Allegany area.
 Despite the clouds or perhaps because of them one can still find beauty in the country side outside of Allegany.
